  • The Eye I think this is the biggest open directory, if it isn't, then it's one of the biggest
  • The Swiss Bay Another OD, they have a BIG collection of linguistic/language books
  • Language and Linguistics MEGA folder A MEGA folder with 50GB of language textbooks, its books aren't the same as theswissbay's ones
  • Kyl's library This is a page with some books omg its so cool
  • LibriVox Free Public Domain Audiobooks by volunteers - I got an audiobook from here once

  • 4get A metasearch engine, very cool
  • Marginalia A search engine that gives you like blogs, academic texts, neocities pages... Sometimes it works better than google/searx
  • Wiby Search engine of old websites. I don't like the search results but the "surprise me" button is fantastic
  • Croc (github) Small app to send files directly to other device, can be installed in termux too. You choose what to send and it gives you a code like 6969-cascadia-rocks-gorilla-baby and you put that in the other computer/phone and you recieve all the files, its that simple!

  • Nectarine Demoscene radio with links to others, they stream good music
  • Farside Links to cool front-ends like Invidious, 4get, Searx, etc...
  • CyclOSM Map with cycling routes, uses OpenStreetMap
  • Light Pollution Map Map about light pollution, once I used it to organise a get-together with a friend to see the Perseids (we couldn't see many)
  • David Lorenz' light pollution maps It has maps from 2006, 2016, 2020, 2022 and one compraring 2013 and 2022 (the only countries that have overall improved are the UK and France, not mine! :DDD)
